-Bow & Bow (satin hair bow & violin bow)
-Noodle & Noodle (Chinese udon noodles & brain shaped stress ball)
-Mug & Mug (coffee mug & criminal mug shot)
False Hair Supply:
-Chest Piece (adhesive chest hair wig)
-Grow Your Own Mustache (ceramic pot with dirt and seeds)
-Emergency Unibrow (for when you need to look serious)
IRONY:
-Vegan Animal Crackers (animal shaped crackers made without products from animals)
-Spontaneously combusting toy fire truck (comes with miniature fire extinguisher)
-Spiked couch pillow (Don't lean on it!)
These are all pretty interesting. I think the false hair store idea could be pushed more...maybe the hirsute store? All things hair related, and it could include false hair.
ReplyDeleteHomonym and Irony are cool too. How can they be evolved so that they're more subtle and/or sublime?
What are you leaning towards?
Well, my original idea was the False Hair Supply Store, but now I'm more leaning towards the Homonym Store, because I like how the notion of a grammar store fits in with the tutoring aspect of 826. Maybe I could just change it to a grammar store so the idea wouldn't be so limited to a specific element of grammar? It wouldn't so much sell products that would, say, give you answers on spelling tests, but more sell fun products that taught the person about an element of grammar and made it fun and sticky so they wouldn't forget grammatical rules and definitions.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea more, what do you think?
I agree that the grammar store is more appealing and has ptoential to be really witty and fun.
ReplyDeleteHow would you develop products for this fantastical store? Examples?
