Update

I have refined my idea down to a name and a one sentence statement that is hopefully enticing and compelling.

Folk Fiction: This store sells one-of-a-kind items, each with it's own unique and interesting short story or narrative vignette.

The store sells the story as much as the item. This is a sort of synthesis between 826 and the Significant Objects Project: http://significantobjects.com/

Each of my options has a very different mood, and i am trying to decide which one to pursue.
