826 "curious cases"
For those who don't know my store is called "curious cases" and it's concept is built on creating curiosity through packaging. The five main things used to create this curiosity are size(5 variations), box top texture, age group info, cost, and a riddle which is applied to a hang tag or belly-band. How well is the question mark working? I'm partial to weather or not it needs to be there, maybe the empty box alone implies curiosity. Any form of feedback would be helpful, thanks.
note: the colors aren't final, and the textures in the bottom right are place holders.

I think the system of boxes in the identity is a nice idea, but right now it's reading too much like picture frames. The variation in the thickness of the edges, as well as having no "opening" is what is causing this I think. I think the questionmark "2" is successful, and I would use it in the lockup, personally.
ReplyDeleteI think if you can get these squares to feel more like boxes, the systematic approach to the branding can work, it just needs tweaked.
This is an interesting approach, but I really prefer your newer version.
