Logo Revision / Sizing

Here is my final (post kerned) logo along with 2 ideas i had for the 826 logo itself.

Also, as discussed during group crits I have added a white background to the logo when placed on the packaging. However I am becoming concerned that when shrunk to the small size that the logo is required to go to on the front of the packages "826 BMORE" will become smeared and illegible. Does any one have any opinions on whether it would be ok to just take out 826 BMORE type (as below) on the 1 place on each package where it gets this small? The full lockup still appears larger on other parts of the package.

thanks!

  1. This looks really good. The white background really helps on the packaging. I'm not concerned if you drop the 826 off if it doesn't scale for that size.

I'm not crazy about the flashlight without the light beam coming out of it, it's just not as "flashlighty".

What if you took the curved solution, and pulled a little of the rules that fall in the round lockup in above your type? Perhaps to the width of the "826 Bmore", and it sits exactly the same distance above the type as it is in your round lockup.

The packaging, tone and voice of this are really great.

  2. yeah, be careful with the flashlight silouhette without the light beams. it starts to look like crack vials:

I like ryan's suggestion. or perhaps if you added a few detail lines in the flashlight, it would read correctly?
