Here are some quick edits done after todays crit. The top set are the price hang tags, and the bottom set are the revised labels. I'm going to try printing on both enhanced matte paper, and an off white stock to make it feel more vintage.

What size are the hang tags? I'm not sure that you need to turn the orientation on them for the price. If there' enough space, I wouldn't have the prices run vertically.
ReplyDeleteFor the paper, test to make sure the off-white stock offers enough contrast. It should look really good.
For your jar labels, the outlines aren't really working, I'd try to make the type white, with black shade lines, I think that will solve your contrast and readability issue.
For the "large jar" maybe it's "giant" or something fun? Or you can write synonyms and have it lead to explanations for the kids?
Example "the Big, giant, huge, ginormous" jar of Exclamations....or you could just make the word for big really evocative and awesome (same for little)
